Volunteer

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Fellowship Baptist is all about serving...our church family, our community, and our world.
If you are a member of Fellowship, you will be asked to sign up for food for a funeral dinner or for helping to feed the workers on our building, for feeding a certain segment of our community, or whoever else we find to minister to.
We serve at our community events, in Vacation Bible School, helping with our new building, cleaning at our buildings, or helping shut-ins with something at their home. Jesus is our example of how to serve. We strive to follow His example.

Serve in our church

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.

Every Christ follower has been gifted by Holy Spirit when they become a new follower of Christ.
It is then our job to find our gifting. When we figure that out, it is then our job to find where we can serve in our fellowship of the Bride of Christ, your local church.
Every church has many opportunities to serve.
Through prayer we find the place that is right for each one of us.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer in different areas of the church?

If you want to volunteer to help with any ministry of Fellowship Baptist Church, you need to talk to one of the leadership of the church. Then you will be pointed in the direction of that ministry leader and they will lead you in serving.

How do I volunteer with children or youth?

Any volunteers we have with children or youth must pass a background check.
Any new volunteer teachers  must go through a 6 month waiting period to become a volunteer, after they have become a member of the church. Other helper volunteers  can be put into a position of helper after a few months of attending Fellowship, if they have passed a background check.
