Missions

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. "

Matthew 28:19

Missions is important to Fellowship Baptist Church. Jesus tells us that "you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."  We fully support the Southern Baptist Offerings - Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions, the Edna McMillan Offering for State Missions, and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions. In addition we support the Mother's Day Offering every May for our Children's Homes and Retirement Villages.
We give 1% of all our general offerings to a Local Benevolence Fund. This goes to help people in our community to meet immediate needs. This is an important part of our missions giving because it helps people here at home.
We always try to facilitate many mission opportunities for our children and youth to give them the chance to see what missions and serving others is all about. We also strive to encourage our adults to help with mission projects throughout the year. We want to be the hands & feet of Jesus to those around us ... to always draw them to the Savior.

Missionaries We Help Support

Craig Hobbs/Flames of Fire Evangelistic Association

Bro. Craig leads teams to Malawi, Zambia, and other countries 2 or 3 times a year. Bro. Dalitso Matakenya is located in Malawi and does much work for Flames of Fire all year long. We support them monthly.

Justin & Hannah Hoot

We cannot say much about the ministry of the Hoot's, except it is in a country they call Narnia. They have made their home their and do many activities to help lead nationals to Christ. They work with churches already in country and minister many other ways there in Narnia.
We support them monthly.

ValleyLight Church - West Valley City, Utah

Dr. Michael & Devon Cooper are Church Planters to Utah & Idaho with NAMB. They felt led to start a church in the neighborhood where they live because the darkness is so great there. ValleyLight meets in a school every Sunday morning and then in homes for Sunday evening Community Groups every other week . They have 2 daughters in High School who are working to befriend their Mormon peers in order to share Christ with them.
We support the ValleyLight Church monthly.

Join the mission

We encourage everyone to join in on any mission opportunity we have. You don't have to be a member of Fellowship to help! We encourage everyone to be a light in the darkness, a help to anyone in need, and give as God has blessed you.
"And the King will answer them, truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these
brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me."     Matthew 25:40
